Oday 25 Apostle Islands, WI
I have two questions. First, on my O'Day 25, I want to add jacklines. I am thinking of the webbing type that runs the length of the boat along the deck and near the stanchions. Does anybody have any suggestions as to attachment points, webbing type/size or other suggestions? Secondly, my older parents had a difficulty in getting under the lifelines when getting in and out of the boat from the dock. I've seen stainless steel hooks that allow the steel lifelines to be unhooked. Is this easy to add? How does it affect the integrity of the lifelines? Thanks, sPk

you may have to add a u-bolt or padeyes to mount the jack lines, the hooks are in the west catalog, they are what the big boats use, so should work for you also but do require a trip to the rigger to make up the line/add hook etc. shame on you for making your parents slide under the life lines!
