Does anyone know where I can get the little grommets on the stanchions that my lifeline goed thru? I'm not sure of the size but I'll be checking that out this weekend. Thanks, Ray

...let me know where. I'm replacing the lifelines on my boat and I wont be using that awful plastic covered steel wire. I will be installing 1/4" Amsteel line instead. Its stronger and kinder to the hands. And you don't need those 6" long pelican hooks at the gates, a 3" egg type snap hook is cleaner looking and much cheaper and opens and closes with one hand.

I searched everywhere for a solution. What I ended up doing was buying copper pipe from a plumbing store and flaring one end. The push it through the hole in the stanchion and flaring the other end. If your stanchions have the plastic or rubber grommets, not sure where you can get them.
