Two questions about netting. First, what is the best way to install it? I had intended to weave the lifeline through the top edge, and run a thin line along the stanchion bases to secure the bottom. There are clips available, but they seem pricey. I've also heard of wire ties being used. I'm also a little unsure of the best way to fasten the lower line to the stanchion bases and to the pulpit/pushpit. I'm also thinking of using bungee cord as the lower line so I can reach under it to get at the spring cleats. Any ideas? Second, on the H26, should I run the netting all the way back to the sternrail or stop at the aft cabin top stanchion? My reasons for adding the netting are containing the jib on deck until I can afford roller furling, and safety (especially for smaller kids). It seems a little less neccesary along the cockpit.
