Lifeline Clasp on Hunter 356

The spring pull that releases the clasp on the lifeline seems to have fallen out over the winter (gone). I have gone to WestMarine to replace the whole clasp, but not finding right threads for lifeline.

Can I replace just the spring pull part? If so, anyone know what part and where to get? Is it one of these? If not, anyone know where to get whole clasp with correct threads online?

Ours is a 2004 Hunter 356.

Isn't your lifeline gate more of the "Pelican" hook type ? You can replace spring and pin if you can get the right parts for the brand you have. Many have a real cheap split ring on the pin that one day fails and launches the pin and spring overboard. I think these are more like what you need.
