Life Raft Rental or Borrow

I am looking to borrow a liferaft during August 2002. A friend has recently purchased a 1990 Island Packet 35 and has asked me to help him sail it from Stuart FL to North Carolina. If anyone knows where we might borrow or rent a 4 person liferaft in canister or suitable container in current certification, please advise. The trip from Stuart is slated to begin on August 10. He is bringing the boat from Tampa to Stuart in the next few days. Thanks in advance for any help you might provide.

Boat U/S?

Hi Wayne, You might try calling Boat U/S. I know some of their stores rent EPIRBs (which you might want anyway). Not sure about liferafts though but I guess it's possible. Have fun on your trip!

Thanks Miles for your reply. A friend has loaned us a 4 person Viking Liferaft in a valise which will serve our needs nicely. The boat has a 406 EPIRB that came with it and the captain has already registered it. Thanks again.
