Shortly we will have to install netting in order not to lose our newly aquired grandson overboard ( one of a number of precautions). Having no toerail to secure the lower side of this netting has anyone any sugestions? Is it possible to get enough tension on the netting between the lifeline stantions? Thankyou Tony Wilcox

Loose Netting

Simply secure a nylon line to the stanchion/pulpit bases and feed it through the base of the netting. Re-tighten the line after it has weathered and you should be good to go.

Same experience here. For the top of the netting, just use standard thin nylon line and spriral it around the life lines incorporating the netting in each turn. The bottom is more challenging. Once you tie off to the bottom of your first stanchion, spiral it through the bottom of the netting, bunching up the excess netting as you go to keep the netting tight and neat. A fair amount of tension is required to keep the lower line flush with the cockpit combing. I've saved many personal possessions from taking a trip to the bottom with this!
