I sail the Hudson River, and at times it does get pretty rough, what degree is the best lien? Only been sailing this year, don't want to turn over yet.
If you start heeling more than 25 degrees, you should reef your main sail, and just have the standard jib up. Any more heel than that, you lose performance, and it's uncomfortable. If it gets really rough, the Mac 25 will do well with just the jib alone.
