lewmar synchro block maintenance

Any input on cleaning, lubricating Lewmar synchro blocks? Haven't used my asymmetrical for a couple years and noted the blocks are very stiff.

A fresh water flush and the sail track lube of your pick should be fine as the balls in the newer synchro blocks are petty hidden away

There better blocks can be serviced as i have replaced sets of balls that had UV damage

I've had those specific kinds of block fail from UV damage - they were for my cunningham. Inspect the cheeks carefully for warping as well as Tommy's advice on the balls.
