I have a legend 37 which has developed water leaks that resulted in the deck on both sides to have seperation. The area in lined up with the port and starbound windows. Has anyone experienced this type of damage? If you have what was the outcame.
A friend had a similar problem on a H35. They cut out an entire section of non-skid to repair the core. I believe that they cut out the non-skid on the smooth section. Then replace the piece that was removed and re-glass & gel coat the area. This made the fix undetectable. You obviously need to find the source of the leak too!
Key as Steve said be sure to find the leaks, those era Hunters are nutorious for leaking window frames. Be sure to check for delamination on the verticle sections of the cabin sides under the windows. As Steve said the key to cuting out the top deck on the smooth part next to the non skid is the key to a god job.
