Legend 37 Battery Bank Expansion

I remember seeing a project on here a while back of a Legend 37 that the owner had expanded the battery box on top of the engine compartment to hold more batteries. The upper ladder had been modified and the steps were repositioned so that the top of the new battery box became a step, then you stepped onto the engine box and on down to the original ladder to the cabin sole.

Does anyone have a pic of this still or can you direct me to it. I checked the project forum and no longer see it there.

I have a 1990 legend and I added two extra batteries. I put one in the bilge in front of the companionway on an appropriately built and secured wood platform, and added the second in the stairs above the engine. I have a total of three batteries: two house, one engine. I changed all the lights to led, and I have a frigoboat reefer. I have a CPT autopilot that runs, too. I use IPAD for primary chartplotter, and I typically have the VHF on while sailing. I also have 6 caraframo fans (yes the boat can lift off like one of those Osprey planes). With all of that, and my family on board, I can go about a day and a half on batteries. When I get back to the boat, I can send pics.
