legend 25 EZ Steer rod

Hello Can anyone tell me if they have ever used EZ-STEER rod for there boat i have a 2008 legend 25 with an tohatsu 9.8 hp. i have just fixed it on out off the water will be putting back in end of march

I tried to use the EZ Steer rod but I could not get the suppliers to order the needed rod for my boat. I even emailed EZ Steer directly. They were not helpful.

I ended up ordering a generic 'motor/ruder link' from Cabelas for much less. It installed easily and I've had no troubles for 10 years now.
