For the first time this winter, I decided to leave my Hunter 34 int he water. I winterized the boat in all other respects. In past years, it has not gotten cold enough to freeze the brackish water. Obviously, this year was different. My question is, how much damage have I done? What whould I look for? Do I need to haul it to inspect the hull?

Ice

Depends how hard it was frozen in. I left my 34 in over the winter many times with the benefit of an ice eater. Salt water ice is not as hard as fresh, but there are a lot of variables here. I would guess that you will see some damage to the finish of the boot stripe, but unless it was really frozen in hard, I would not expect anything structural.
