LED Nav Lighting

I have a Hunter 25.5 ... so the fixtures are different. But for the running/navigation lights I suggest you consider http://www.DoctorLED.com. They have festoon blubs compatible with the Aqua Signal series 25 running lights ... and festoon bulbs compatible with the Perko steaming light and anchor light. (FYI. I also replaced the lens on all of these lights. Thus it might have been less expensive to purchase new LED fixtures all around ... but I was trying to keep the boat as "original" as possible.)

Changed my anchor light this year (1984 h27) to an LED fixture. Please see informaion in the owner modification article under the 1984 h27's.

Beware of installing anything that does not have the proper marine approval. That way lies a raft of problems if you ever get involved in an incident of any sort. That can escalate into BIG problems.

I seriously doubt that interior cabin lighting that is not marine grade will land you in court. Nav lights sure, but a reading light not likely.

I am running Dr. LED conversions in my Hella lights. Yours are different. At the time I converted mine, there were few if any nav light LED assemblies available. now, most are LED. It makes a huge difference in draw.
