Excellent DIY project for any Sailboat. Follow along as Steve installs a new LED Light in the Galley of his Hunter 31 Sailboat SV Windy Daze. Displays White or Red light with on/off.

Hi Chip, The unit you see to the left is a small microwave oven controls on white right side, dark window door of microwave to left of controls. Gopros tend to warp view of items around the subject area.

Did you keep the 'wire nuts' in your installation?

Hi G Gizzard,
Thanks for your question. Yes I used the yellow wire connectors shown in making the electrical connections. They are new versus the original connectors. I could have also used the squeeze style connectors, however, they are not as forgiving. If you have a bad connection, you have to cut precious wire length to try again. In comparison I have had good results from the twist style and if a connection is not good you simply unscrew and try again without losing wire length. PS We had a great day on SV Windy Daze sailing the Chesapeake Bay on Saturday. Good wind, blue skies.
