Lectra/San value added?

Our boat doesn't have an MSD for either head and I am considerng the install of an Lectra/San. I would appreciate comments pro/con if this is a worthwhile investemment or if I should just install a flexible holding tank in the limited space I have available.Thanks,Roy PetersonU.S. s/v "Brilliant"

I'd put a Lectra/San on the most-used toilet, and

a holding tank on the other one. However, flexible tanks are not well suited for sewage holding...the reasons are discussed in the article "Holding Tank Odor..." in the Head Mistress forum Reference Library (on the forum home page). Go with a rigid plastic tank, even if you have to order it from a US mfr. Although a Lectra/San is unlikely to increase the survey value of your boat, it's definitely an enhancement, and well worth the investment.
