Leaving shrinkwrap on all summer

I may not be able to launch my Beneteau this summer. It is on the hard in Michigan, with shrinkwrap covering it from Fall of 2010. Will leaving the shrinkwrap on all summer risk harm to the boat (example: cause blisters in gelcoat)? Assumes shrinkwrap was professionally installed and well-ventilated.

I've had good luck by opening a hole fore (bow pulpit) and one aft to keep air moving through. You can always close it back up before the freeze-thaw begins.
