Ohio was spectacular
We had brilliant colors on every tree, including the oaks, whichis rare. Usually they turn brom and thats it. The grape harvest was just as spectacular with record harvests. Ohio, PA, and New York make some of the best wines in the world. This time of year the winds blow out of the south, and when you are in grape country, while out on the lake, the smell is unbelievable. Like living in a Welches grape jelly jar. This past Saturday/Sunday we had winds of 40 knots with gusts up to mid 50's. Not many leaves left on the trees. But it sure was pretty while it lasted. And this has been a warm fall too. Everyone is trying to find someone who left their boat in the water to go sailing one more time. Usually we get one snowfall by now.
