The starboard fixed porthole/window in the Salon on my 77 Hunter 30 leaks. It appears the previous owner tried to put caulk around the window inside and out to stop it but if so it didn't work.

What are my options? I assume I can take it apart and reseal/rebed all of the components.

Also in the quarter birth I had a fairly major leak. I followed it back as far as I could, but lost it behind the nav station. I am guessing it either is getting in around the life line stantion or by the water fill. Any other ideas would be helpful.

The window is pretty easy to remove. Unscrew the window from the inside and gently push out the outer frame. It is important to have someone outside to catch the frame so it does not go over the edge.
The leak behind the nav station could be a break in the bilge pump hose. It could also be the shore power plug, water tank breather, cabin top winch, line locks, or the teak handrail. Good luck. Just start resealing everything until you find it.
