Al, what goes are the seals. You can remove the pump and replace the seals, depending on how handy you are. Sometimes you can pay a yard or pump distributor to do that for you but the cost is usually more than half the cost of a new pump, so many of us ended up buying new pumps. The marine supply places tells me I need a raw water pump not a fresh water pump since I use an oberdorfer impeller and gasket. Of course, the raw water pump is almost double in price.
