After only 5 years, our starboard fresh water tank on our 2002 Hunter 466 has developed a leak. We have taken the floor board opening off over the tank but cannot see the other side of the tank to get to the leak. Much of the tank appears to be under the captain's table. Does anyone have experience in getting to this tank so we can find the leak?

Hi Fred Noticed your in Sseabeck, my old fishing spot. I live and grew up in the area. Now down here in FL. I have a 78 Hunter 30 I've been working on and sailing. Retiring shortly and heading to the Bahamas. Still miss home.. Steve

It works!

Steve, You know the old marina is condemned don't you? It was purchased by a group of 'yachty' investors and is scheduled for replacement starting in July with a really-real 200 boat marina. I'm still waiting to see where the parking is going to come from. Also the permits aren't final. I expect the Fisheries Department will once again rear their ugly head. Bahamas huh? I think you should move home to the new marina. This morning it was sunny and breezy! Now? Rainy. (almost matches your name) But the frost melted before it could snow. OOPS! didn't mean to hijack this thread! Sorry. Back to the thread: I have no idea why the tank leaks or how to fix it. There! Whew.

Fred

Fred Didn't know that on the old marina. Parking will be a problem unless they stack them on top of each other. I almost bought a place directly across from the marina a few years ago. What kind of boat do you have? Steve.Rainey@navy.mil
