Leaking Raw Water Pump on Volvo Model 2003

Hello All

I am a recent owner of a Scanmar 35 with a Volvo model 2003 Diesel engine. I love the boat - just not sure she loves me. First day out fresh water pump went - a week to have the pump rebuilt and Bring On Another Thousand. A week later I now notice a steady drip from the raw water pump. Looks like it is coming from the panel that covers the front which I assume is access to impeller. Guessing maybe a seal?? but not finding much info online. Anybody have some sage words of wisdom born of experience?

that sounds like the impeller cover plate, on the other side once you remove the 4 screws you should find the impeller and a paper gasket between the engine and the front cover plate.

Have you tried tightening the screws?
