leaking prop strut

I recently noticed that I have water leaking into by ’88 C30 at the prop strut bolts. Has anyone removed the strut to reseal it? I have removed the fuel tank and it appears to be bolted from the outside to a recess in the hull. I removed the nuts and resealed them with polysulfide, which seams to be working. My concern is that without doing the repair from the outside of the hull that it will just start leaking again. The tank has to be removed to get access so I don’t want to do it again until I repaint the bottom.

If the strut is not moveing around I would clean off the bottom paint cleam around the strut and seal with 4200 prime and paint if the strut is moveing you can drill3 holes on each side and inject epoxy around the strut then fill holes with small screws so the epoyx wont drip fill holes seal with 4200 prime and paint .
