Does anyone have any experience removing port water tank. It seems to have developed a leak over winter storage even though the tank was emptied. The top of the settee does not allow access to the tank and I can't see any screws that hold the top down.

Anthony,,,

while I haven't done it, others on this list have. The screws are there, hidden behind the cubby holes. There should be some along the outside edge as well. Worst case scenario is that you cut out the top panel. Before you do, try pressurizing the tank and listen to where you may have air escaping. The tank is fairly sturdy so I suspect the connection from the tank to the pump may be the culprit. Try soapy water on them like looking for a tire leak. I've found some of the grey plastic connectors leaking at different times, so they could be culprits too.

And,,,,on top of that,,,

I have my old one, unused for nearly 20 years, in perfect condition, just sitting in the barn waiting for a needy owner. If you're the guy, let me know. Cost? Postage. And a good home of course.
