Peggy, I realy need your help !!!! I am the new owner of a 1992 hunter 27' with a marine head equiped with a mancerator, in the past few weeks we (WIFE) have noticed a yellowish liquide on the interior cabine floor and the head floor after a day of sailing. We (wife)seems to think liquide in question is seeping out of the marine head itself arround the cabine floor !!!! is this possible ? and why ? how do I fix problem ?

I need more information...

I've learned from experience that "... boat with a marine head equipped with a macerator" can mean anything from a macerating toilet to a manual toilet connected to a holding tank that that has a macerator to to dump the tank at sea. What make/model is the toilet? Is it still the original? If the toilet is electric, does the bowl completely evacuate immediately when you flush...or does it have a hard time going down? How long are you keeping your finger on the button? If a manual toilet, does it pump easily? Bowl contents goes down quickly? Do you only see any liquid on the head sole after sailing? Or when the boat is at rest too? Read the above carefully and answer ALL my questions.
