I have some water streaking into the starboard side in the vBerth right under the anchor locker.

It looks like its coming in from the locker pin hole but I pumped that full of 4200 and pushed the pin into it then removed to create a little female "home" for the pin. It might of fixed something but the water is still getting in.

Next I tightened all the screws up on the bow plate and surrounding toe rail but that didn't help either.

Anyone have issue in this area before?

Thanks,
-Jared

stupid question but what's the proper way to rebed screws?
Are you sure they're screws, or are they bolts (machine screws) with nuts?

Remove the hardware, clean the mating surfaces, apply bedding compound.

When tightening, it usually takes 2 workers. One inside turning the nut, and the other outside, keeping the screw from turning.

Jared, do your wires from the bow light come out of the pulpit and through the deck on the same side as the anchor locker latch? I had to put some sealant there too as water was dribbling down where the wires came into the boat. You might check that anchor locker latch again. Maybe you didn't quite get it filled, or it pushed loose again. In my case I glued a little plastic cap in the hole that the latch can slide into (see picture). I seem to always have a bunch of those laying around.

Found the leak in my anchor locker

I found the leak in my H26 anchor locker and the drain fitting itself was the problem. It had:
a. no caulk of any kind under the flange and
b. the plastic nut wasn't and couldn't be tightened because it was stripped and
c. the stainless hose clamp wasn't tight.

Replaced the fitting, caulked the heck out of it, tightened the new nut and tightened the clamp. Now it's fine.

I agree with John. The through fitting on the anchor locker drain loosened up over time. The problem on the H31 is that the inner liner and the anchor locker are mutually exclusive parts. So there is a physical gap between the two. I made a spacer and slid it between the two parts and cranked the nut down - No leak! Hooray!!!!

Thanks for that suggestion Mark,
I had the drain hose block up and the lower fitting broke off. I have to finish replacing the hose before heading to Harrington on Sat so I'll be sure to see if I have that same gap on the drain side.

Not sure I follow. Where did you put the spacer?
