In the battery compartment forward to the dinette where bottom of boat meets the keel trunk. I have seepage of water entering boat, sitting at dock I get about half a pint . While under way in 15 to 20 knot winds on lake erie I get about 1 1/2 gallons I also have seepage in keel bolt compartment but on a lesser scale. Its not from keel bolt. Any one have any ideas I was going to just glass over area from inside but ??????

Is your boat a C22

I bought a used C22 several years ago, and I had similar leaks to contend with. The leak in the forward port dinette was caused by the keel hitting the locking bolt while it was turned in and bending the bolt and also tearing the stainless strap where it's glassed into the trunk. I phoned Catalina Yachts, and spoke to a tech source there, who recommended removing the strap and looking bolt entirely. I did as advised and glassed the area, and it's bone dry now. I also had water acumulating in the bilge area. I had a difficult time finding it at first, and discovered that when I backing out of the slip, water would push out of the large rubber tube for the keel cable. I went to a hardware store and bought a 2" 'FERNCO' cap. I drilled a 1/4" hole in the center, then cut a slit through one side to allow it to fit over the keel cable, then I gently tightened the stainless clamp. I haven't gotten a drop of water from the rubber hose since.

could it be...

I have a '77 Cat. same issue, water came from the seal around the spinning speed indicator wheel located on the left hand side of the swing-keel. Removed it, cleaned and siliconed, no more leak. Good luck !
