I am planning on using a leaf blower to identify leaks. I noticed on the achives, that there was mentionof a list of leak locations for the h23. I could not find it, and wondered if anyone has a list. I know about the anchor locker and cockpit drain. Thanks

My findings

The rubrail was the culprit on my 29.5. Caulk had deterioriated over the years, and water came pouring in betweeen the joints where the top meets the bottom. My solution was to remove and replace the calk, which worked wonders. In lieu of the leafblower technique, you could move a hose around and let it run water over certain parts as you examine the effect from inside.

Leaks

We have an 1986 H23 and found that the piece of teak at the back of the sliding hatch will leak. Pulled it off and resealed it and it has been fine. Two years ago I pulled all deck fittings and resealed with 3M4200 and have had no leaks since. I also pulled the chain plate and sealed this as well. Rob
