Leak in the Aft Cabin

You didn't give much info. If you thought it was the steering pedestal and "caulking" (Did you actually remove and re-bed it or just caulk around the edge?) it didn't work, then what about the adjacent pedestal guard mounts or even the binnacle on top? If it's not those, can you follow a logical path from where the water appears in the cabin to the source of the leak or at least rule some out? There are a lot of deck penetrations to consider in the area of your aft cabin -- cockpit scuppers or hoses, locker hinges, winches, cleats, dodger & bimini mounts, toerails, stanchions, cockpit portlite, etc. Tracing leaks can be frustrating. Water sometimes has a sneaky way of traveling far from it's source before appearing. Good luck.
Before going crazy with the caulking gun, look up MaineSail's posts on this site about re-bedding deck hardware with Butyl tape.

Mine was "leaking" by the window but it wasn't the window. It was the instrument panel. I made a Sunbrella cover to snap over it when not in use no more leak.

I'm not familiar with that boat but I had the same issue in my H31. The cockpit drain needed to be re-bedded.

I have found water in my aft engine area and traced it to the 90-degree elbow attached to the cockpit drain. It had cracked in a way that one could not see but it dripped a LOT when it rained or I washed the deck. Dry as a bone now....well, maybe a damp bone, there's always some leak or another somewhere to deal with!

I agree. Last night as I was finishing the holding tank project I saw a trickle of water running from the stem to the bilge. I think the plate at the point of the bow needs to be rebedded.

I'm just thankful that none of my stanchions have ever leaked (I'm crossing myself just now...) or my portlights. I hope this freezing cold Chicago weather doesn't open-up any new leaks. My boat is a lifetime California boat with a few years on the Chesapeake. I worry about any standing water in the core freezing and expanding.
