Leak in aft cabin, port side

1990 35.5.......after severe rainstorm, found water in floor of aft closet, as well as along the port side rim of aft bunk. Does anyone have a clue as to the source of the leak? It might be coming through the winch handle on port side that sits over the aft cabin. Thanks.

Companionway hatch

I had water in the same place on my 335, it was coming from the companionway hatch. The wood between the skins had rotted out and water was able to leak through. This was a problem to find as the aluminum track for the hatch hides this area.

Toe Rail if so equipped

I had a similar leak and the repair was just a tighting of the bolts, a severe leak might require rebedding.
