I have a H33.5 1990 with 4 lines aft on the starboard cabin top. I want to add 3 lines through a deck organizer and rope clutch to a new winch on the port side. Does anyone know if Hunter has embedded plates in these locations or do I have to thru bolt. If so how does one do this without damaging the interior liner?

Adding a line organizer to the port side is a good idea. After locating the position of the new organizer, drill a pilot hole and note the filings coming up from the bit. I am fairly certain you will find aluminum in these filings which will allow you to tap the embedded plates to secure the organizer. If you need to thru bolt you will need to cut an access panel on the inside of the cabin roof liner.
Here is a pic from the Boat Info link showing the deck organizers on both sides.

Mine has port side organizer

My '92 H33.5 has lines leading back to the port side. I'm trying to remember.....I think the organizer is under the cover forward of the companionway. Yep, that's where it is and that's why I can't visualize if the port and starboard organizers are identical. My guess would be that, at least on the '92, there is support there. My headliner is clear in that area. I'll be at the boat on Friday evening but will be out for a week. I'll check it out and if you are still trying to figure it out I'll let you know what I find.

here's 2 pics

Here's 2 pics of my '92. The organizers are under the cover. If your cover has 2 "inlets" I would bet that it is set up for an organizer under there.

Re: here's 2 pics

Thanks guys, my hatch cover has two inlets, and symetrical port /starboard. The small pilot hole is a great idea. A few years back I added some jib fairlead blocks to my H28.5 at the time and was surprised to find aluminum returns coming off the drill.
