Leading Lines Aft

The boat is home from the dock and taking up half the drive for the winter again (sad time of the year). I noticed there were some nicks in the one jib line block and the other was looking a little rough also. I will replace these in the spring and decided while I do that, I'd like to lead the main and jib main lines to the cockpit. Any advice on a clean and efficient system? Single-handing most of the time has made it a hassle to be up front when raising and lowering sails and my dog hasn't quite learned to come around and get me if I go over (especially on Erie where it seems the bigger the power boat, the closer they have to buzz you and demonstrate their wake making capabilities). Would it be possible to replace the old blocks with double roller blocks? Stanchion mounted blocks? Please suggest! Thanks, Randy Simmons H23 "Munchkin"
