Well Done David.

Your post makes me want to go work on the boat. Unfortunately the cover is "anchored" with several inches of snow. I like the way you did the halyard, an important line for safety reasons. I have had the hardware for a few years and still have not drilled the holes: two deck organizers, two clutch sets, and a new winch for the other side. Cheek blocks bolted to the mast are one way. My H37C has bolts through the mast partners that can be replaced by eye bolts. I did one for my boom vang. My plan was to just attach blocks to those. Did you make a base or are the parts bolted directly to the deck? My boat already has inside handrails so I will look for another solution to "hiding" the hardware.

Directly to the deck

Al the hardware is bolted directly through the deck, and the cabin liner, which is backed by fender washers for the bolts that do not continue through the cherry plank. David Lady Lillie
