I am shopping for new ports and hatches for my 1976 30', and I am just to lazy, and its too cold to go out there and take them out right now. Does anyone know the opening size for the four side ports and the two overhead hatches on a 1976 Hunter 30. Has anyone done business with the Thrifty Mariner before?

Can't help you onthe size but I have purchased ports from them a few years ago. The were suppose to be factory seconds but looked perfect to me and fit within my Hunter budget ($50 each) I recall them being difficult to reach but once we connected service was good. In my initial delivery the forgot to send four of the six screens but got them to me a week later. Are they still in business? Please post their contact information. I'd like to deal with them again

Thrifty Mariner Closed

Thrifty Mariner was closed about two years ago. There is an offshoot business that has reopenned in another location. But, when I stopped there last (months ago) they had not yet established a web site. If I find time I will stop by and see if they have a web site going now. The new location was much smaller but better organized.
