Lazarette lock for H23

Hi, has anyone put a lock of some kind on the lazarette hatch on a Hunter 23? I'll be using some public docking this summer and don't want my $30 barbeque stolen.

Sure, figure out your dimensions and go find a hasp at ACE Hardware.

You can find what you need at Lowe's Home Improvement also. ACE is not as convenient where we are located.

If I were doing it, I'd look for a stainless hasp, which may require you to go to one of the marine web sites or a store.

I purchased a stainless hasp on ebay 3 years ago. About 1/4 the price of West Marine
