I am considering a 1975 Hunter 30' and I notice that the website doesn't have a deck/below plan to view. Does anyone have an original brochure or floorplan that they can e-mail, upload, link to or fax? Thanks Angelo angelo@oceansystems.com

Used to have one.

Carl Woods had set up a Cherubini photo site that contained one. But none of the "albums.photopoint.com" sites work anymore. Our little Cherubini manual site is the best that I know of right now(see link below). If someone has the original owner's doc they could scan it into the HOW Photo Forum. Or send it to Phil. P.S. Found one Owner's Manual illustration on Yacht World, the 1980 H30 in New Orleans. But it's very small. See it at: http://www.yachtworld.com/listing/yw_display_photo.jsp?boat_id=859482

Go to yachtworld.com and follow the links. If you input years from 1975 to 1979, you will get a list of boats. Quite a few have interior pics. I don't believe there was much difference in the cabin layouts. If you search around the web, you might find other brokers that have supplied pics, also. If you do, would you post them on this forum? Funny you should mention this one!!! Hunter changed the ORIGINAL interior plan for this boat-- probably for cost although I always blamed marketing. The original plan drawn in summer 1973 called for a 6-sleeper plan including a pilot berth above the settee to one side. What can I say? --Hunter wanted 6 bunks. I can't be sure if the '75 had the plan with the pilot berth but I know the '74s did. I wonder if the brochure's not having an accommodation plan online has anything to do with the fact that apparently Hunter HATED the original and altered it-- causing not only factory retooling issues but all the marketers and dealers to redo their literature. I can't say I fault them either way-- I was 16 when I designed that interior by myself, on specific instructions from my dad who was laid in in traction the entire month of August. He also had me do the displacement calculations and to finish all remaining drafting work by the deadline. Then he let me do the talking at the last corporate meeting about it prior to tooling production. Those were the days! BTW- I'd love to say I've got original drawings lying round but I haven't seen any lately. Sorry. JC 2 JComet@aol.com
