HI Peggie. Tomorrow we will be replacing the mounting pedestal on our Lavac manual head. There is a gasket between the bowl and the pedestal. Does this gasket need to be lubricated? Thanks, JMP

No...it doesn't.
That gasket is a seal, not a moving part that needs protection against wear...so no lubrication needed.
