Blue Fin floats again!
Launched on Monday and the old MD6A got me to the slip. Funny, that
motor. I was feeling so clever when she fired up and ran smoothly,
until engaging the stop lever. At this point she coughed and
sputtered and wouldn't quite shut down. Wondering if I had to stay
with it until the tank emptied, I finally rememberd the compression
release lever and got her stopped.
Ah well...Beta someday.
Still smoky though perhaps a bit browner. Thanks to all who have
helped me along the way with timely insight.
Hoping to bend on the sails this weekend and let her try out her newly
painted bottom. Good luck to all who are recommissioning!Victor
