Question for mariner owners. When I am sailing my mariner 2 2 the main sail is so tall the back of the boom (at the transom) clears the gunnel only by about a foot. Is this normal or do I have a racing sail??
J - Hit the link below to see where the boom ought to be on your boat. Are you sure you're getting full hoist? Is it possible that its the wrong sail? You might want to have a sailmaker look at it. It could be blown out of shape and they may be able to recut it for you. Justin - O'day Owners' Web
My sail is the correct sail for the mariner as far as I can tell. It has the hull no and the "M" on the sail. The leech is just long. Justin I did not get the link you sent. Thanks for the response. J stuart
