Hello I am looking to buy a 1975 37 ft independence cruiser. I want to know if I would be able to store a sailboat this size in lake lanier ga and how much it would cost? Thank you for your time everyone

Marina prices

I recently got a quote from Aqualand and Port Royale and both were about the same. The prices for a 40 foot open slip start at around $3100 per year and up. More if you want to pay by the month.

Regards
Dave

How about we post some prices (per foot) and the season length where you are.

Unless you want to go the yacht club or sailing club route, sailboats live primarily at three marinas on Lake Lanier: Holiday, Aqualand, and Sunrise Cove. Prices are pretty much the same as Lastlap said (usually includes water but not electricity or dock box), but you need to check with each marina to see which slips are available right now, and go visit those slips to see if they meet your needs. Sunrise Cove has the most sailboats; we have several friends there, but Aqualand (where we are) and Holiday have quite a few as well. PM me if you have specific questions.
