I will be installing a new Gori on my boat in a couple of weeks (hopefully) and was wondering if anyone has any experience with Lapping one. I have followed Maine Sails' advice as well as Steve D'antonio's, but what's different about this setup is the 'cone' which is what actually gets fitted to the shaft is a separate piece from the rest of the propeller.
I guess I'm wondering if I can just lap this piece without the rest of the weight of the Prop hub and blades?
