lancer 27 power sailer

I have an opportunity to buy a Lancer 27 powersailer. It is a PROJECT boat, and it is cheap. I have been searching the net and have found little except a referance on this site telling the guy looking at one to "get a real sailboat". Does anyone reading this have any info on these boats (PHRF, hull speed, blister history, sailing characteristics, etc). I'm thinking that this could be a fun PROJECT (yes, I know I keep shouting PROJECT, but it is in terrible shape) and the accommodations are perfect down below for my needs. Any feedback is appreciated.

Projects are fun.

Projects are fun. They are also satsfying. They are mostly satisfying when you end up with something that you can be proud of or profit by. Those things might not be the case with a Lancer. Best of luck.
