Lake of the Woods

First time going to Lake of the Woods. Renting a slip at Northern Harbour. Any advice on sailing in these waters (other than looking out for rocks!)?

What about the rocks? My buddies fish up there and buy prop repair. Can my 26S go up there for fun with them? Even thought of not stepping mast. Don't care much about the big fish.
