So far this year the season for me on Lake Champlain has been a bust. Too nervous to cruise the Lake and drop anchor at out the way spots until these escapees are caught. Do you think I'm being over cautios

I do. I wouldn't let something like that ruin my fun. I just don't think any escapes would won't to get on a sailboat anyway. Me personally like to see someone board my boat without out my permission. Just saying don't let it stop you from doing what you enjoy...

yeah its all over, they killed richard matt on friday and caught david sweat today in constable. id sail champlain anyways. just need to get up the champlain locks first.
