Any one have any experience in sailing a swing keel 22 in Laguna Madre in the South Padre Island, Port Isbelle area. We have been wintering there for the last couple of years and I am wanting to take my 22 down next winter. In talking to the folks there they all say that the Laguna Madre is just too shallow for anyone to be sailing besides the Hobie cats. I normally trailer it and sail in Lake Thunderbird in the Normam OK area. Thanks.
