I don't know how long its been there, but there is a great web cam and current wind/weather station, thanks to our friends at Central Connecticut Seatow. It's located just inside the Saybrook jetty, at the mouth of the Connecticut River. I've heard that there are some buoys that transmit wind/weather conditions. Are there any out on L.I. Sound accessible on the Internet?
