I have one of those that came with my boat when I bought her 23 years ago. Never knew how to use it. Learned something new today. Thanks for the post.

Thank you, now it moves up to the middle drawer.

It can come in handy if you have to raise your jib onto the furler alone. It is attached to the bottom of the slot in the furler, Lay out the sail on the deck. Start to raise the sail into the feeder and into the furler slot. The feeder will dangle and draw the sail towads the furler slot while you haul down on the jib halyard. You’ll be amazed and may even shout... Wow, like magic.
