Knotmeter replacement blank

I pulled my knotmeter out and plan to discard it.

I realize it probably makes no difference, but I was hoping for a flat blank to leave in.
But the blank, for some reason, has a cut-out for a wheel. Maybe the reason is cost - same mold used for the knot-meter and the blank.

Does anyone know what manufacture this is? That might help in a search for a replacement blank. If none, I will leave in the blank with the cut-out.

Probably Airmar. What brand instruments do you have?

I'd just leave the blanking plug in the hole. If the cutout for the paddle wheel bugs you fill it with some black silicon caulk.
