Knot Meter

I would like to mount a knot Meter on my '95 Mac 26S, I don't know where to mount the transducer, any advice would be appreciated.

KM Location

I also have a '95 26S. I recently installed the knotmeter in the rear laserette-common to a lot of 26C installations. I used the hole in which I previously had the DS transducer mounted. This I moved the the floor of the galley cabinet (inspection lid for the ballast tank).The KM location is easy to get to outside in the event that you want to tape the paddle wheel while trailering.The instrument itself I mounted in the front face of the bridge deck. KM Lazarette loction

Thanks for the reply. Where in the rear lazarette do you place the transducer? Forward, aft, and does it effect the balast tank. I assume you don't place in the middle of the V, at the bottom the lazarette, but either on the port or starboard sides.
