Knee Operation

Hi All

Now back home and being pampered. Op wnt well and only had a local so I
could see all that was done. Interesting but a bit strange to feel your
knee being pushed and prodded and seeing the torn bits cut out. Just
goes to show what a well used knee looks like - yuk!

Hope to be sailing in six weeks (end of season) so will keep you
informed of progress. Anyone keeping their Vega in the water over the
winter let me know as I will be after some winter sailing this year as
missed a load cause of this damm knee.

Regards to all

Hi All

I am now back in the fold. Had knee operation, went straight to Cub Camp
with my 8 year old the following day, peeled potatoes, carrots etc for
the next three days. Doc said I should be able to sail again in 4 - 6
weeks but that will be the end of the season!

Well done all the Vegas that escaped damage in Hurricane Isabel.

Kind Regards from a limping Steve
