My transmission locked up today when I put it in reverse to back into my slip after running fine all day. When it locked up it stalled the engine. I started the engine and put it in gear again with the same result. I hope I don't need a whole new gearbox. Thinking of taking the tranny off the engine myself and taking it to a marine shop. Any information on this will be appreciated. Thanks,
